School on Quantum Foundations, 15th to 18th June 2026 in Trieste, dedicated to Prof. GianCarlo Ghirardi

Dear Colleagues,

We are organising in Trieste a School on Quantum Foundations dedicated to Prof. GianCarlo Ghirardi, which will take place from 15th to 18th June 2026.

The school will introduce Master’s and PhD students to the still outstanding problems in our understanding of quantum foundations. To give a deep look into the foundations of quantum mechanics, lectures will be given by experts in the field.

List of lecturers:
Valter Moretti (University of Trento): Locality, localization, and commutativity in quantum relativistic theories
Nicolò Piccione (University of Trieste): Collapse models: Theory, phenomenology and connections with semiclassical gravity
Marko Toroš (University of Ljubljana): Matter-wave interferometry and tests of gravity
Roderich Tumulka (Tübingen University): Bohmian Mechanics
