We are pleased to announce the School of Quantum Foundations: Speakable and Unspeakable, a ten-day event dedicated to the exploration of fundamental questions in quantum mechanics.
Dates: August 18–27, 2025
Location: University of Split, Croatia
Website and Application at the link.
The school is intended for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career scientists interested in foundational questions in quantum theory. It will feature lectures and in-depth discussions led by the following invited speakers:
• Tim Maudlin (NYU)
• Ward Struyve (KU Leuven)
• Angelo Bassi (University of Trieste)
• Sandro Donadi (Queen’s University Belfast)
• Matteo Carlesso (University of Trieste)
Topics will include quantum nonlocality, Bohmian mechanics, collapse models, decoherence, optomechanics and related foundational issues.
